Quality & care

What good psychological care should feel like.

Quality is more than qualifications. It is the combination of professional standards, thoughtful processes, clear communication and a patient experience built around dignity.

Our quality framework

Six care commitments that make trust visible.

This framework gives patients a clear view of the principles behind their experience—from the first enquiry to ongoing care, referral or completion.

01

Professional registration & scope

Care is provided within the practitioner’s professional registration, competence and ethical scope. When another professional or service is more appropriate, referral is part of responsible care.

02

Clear consent & expectations

Patients should understand the purpose of the service, confidentiality, fees, cancellation arrangements and what the therapeutic process may involve before care proceeds.

03

Individualised care planning

The initial assessment informs a direction that reflects the patient’s needs, goals, history, context and preferences—not a one-size-fits-all programme.

04

Confidentiality & privacy

Private information is handled with care. The limits of confidentiality and any necessary information sharing are explained as part of informed consent.

05

Progress review & continuity

The care direction is reviewed as circumstances change. Where coordination or referral is needed, continuity is considered rather than leaving the patient to navigate alone.

06

Feedback & improvement

Patient feedback creates an opportunity to understand the care experience, respond to concerns and strengthen how the practice communicates and supports people.

The care journey

Quality should be experienced at every step.

The practice journey is designed to answer the questions patients most often carry: Who will I speak to? What happens next? Is this the right service for me?
